and "Expert Security‑2025":
MAIN PREMIERES OF THE EXHIBITION
Firefighting and Rescue Equipment
The "Pozhmashina" company brought several new products to the exhibition.
Notably among them:
The fire tanker AC‑5‑50(1833)‑442F3, based on a Ford Trucks F‑Line chassis. Unlike its predecessor, this model features a standard single‑row cab, with part of the crew accommodated in a dedicated compartment within the custom‑built body. It holds a 5000‑liter water tank and is equipped with an FPN 10‑3000 pump capable of delivering 50 liters per second with a pressure of 170 meters (17 bar).
The EKL33C fire ladder truck on a Daewoo HH5CA (4x2) chassis. This is a joint project between Pozhmashina and South Korean manufacturer Everdigm, aimed at localizing production and increasing the share of Ukrainian components.
The company "Validus Special Auto" showcased an innovative vehicle ‑ a heavy‑duty emergency and rescue vehicle based on a Scania 6x6 chassis. The SARM‑V is designed for emergency operations in hard‑to‑reach areas, transporting rescuers and equipment, evacuating victims, providing first aid, and conducting radiological and chemical reconnaissance, among other tasks.
This robust vehicle is built to face the toughest challenges encountered by Ukrainian rescuers during wartime.
At "FireTech‑2025," Validus Special Auto also presented its well‑known models, including the SARM‑V based on MAN, a fire tanker (AC‑5‑50) on a MAN chassis, and the SARM‑S on an IVECO chassis.
Ukrainian company Tital presented three vehicles:
- The AC 12‑80 fire tanker on an all‑wheel‑drive Renault Trucks K‑series (6x6) chassis, equipped with window grilles for branch protection.
- The AC 7‑50 fire tanker on a Daewoo Maximus (4x2) chassis, with a 5+1 cabin, a 6600‑liter water tank, and 500 liters of foam concentrate.
- The APTts 30/2000‑1500 fire lift with a working height of 30 meters, mounted on a Daewoo Maximus HC3AA (4x2) chassis.
Demining Equipment
Croatian company DOK‑ING, together with its technology partner A3Tech Ukraine, proudly presented the MV‑4, a fully assembled and certified robotic demining system in Ukraine. This particular model was used for national certification and has already proven its effectiveness in the field.
The MV‑4 attracted great interest from visitors, especially considering that DOK‑ING equipment, which is used by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the State Special Transport Service of Ukraine and others, has cleared more territories in Ukraine than any other robotic solution.
The exhibition also featured a remotely controlled mechanized demining machine, the Mematt from Universal Business Machines. It has a tracked chassis with a 300 hp diesel engine. The operating speed in cleaning mode is: on light soil ‑ 1900 m2/h, on medium soil ‑ 1425 m2/h and on heavy soil ‑ 950 m2/h.
The highlight of the Pozhmashina company's exposition was the PM‑L light pyrotechnic vehicle on an Isuzu FTS34 (4×4) all‑wheel drive chassis. Its interesting feature is the original three-seater hood-mounted cabin, which is also armored.
PM‑L has a curb weight of 9700 kg and a gross weight of 10,500 kg. Overall dimensions: 7370 x 2360 x 2955 mm. Wheelbase ‑ 4450 mm. Ground clearance ‑ 315 mm. The car is equipped with a 6‑cylinder 7.8‑liter turbodiesel (Euro 2) with a capacity of 240 hp and a manual 6‑speed gearbox. Fuel tank ‑ 200 l. Maximum speed ‑ 90 km/h.
Nearby, at the stand of the Validus Special Auto company, you could see a special heavy‑duty PM‑V pyrotechnic vehicle on a MAN TGS (6X6) chassis with an armored cabin and a HIAB X‑HIDUO 158 control unit.
At the stand of the exhibition partner of the Ukrainian Association of Humanitarian Demining, innovations of the Ukrainian Demining Cluster were presented, in particular, one could see a ground drone with a hydrocannon for the safe neutralization of explosive ordnance and get acquainted with the sapper's robotic arm ‑ a technology of the future that is already working today.
Special equipment and medical vehicles
The crane company "Spetstechservice" had an interesting stand. Here you could see a Renault Trucks K series (6x6) all‑wheel drive truck equipped with an onboard platform and a powerful Palfinger PK 23500 crane‑manipulator ‑ with a lifting capacity of up to 10,000 kg and a maximum reach of 16.7 m.
Novitex Brokk LLC, the official representative of Brokk AB in Ukraine, presented solutions for rescue operations in difficult conditions at the stand.
Brokk Security and Rescue Solutions offers a powerful, standardized unmanned vehicle system with versatile robots and a unique set of modular solutions designed for security, rescue and defense needs.
For the first time in Ukraine, the Brokk 120D remote‑controlled rescue vehicle was demonstrated. It is the world's smallest diesel‑powered demolition machine. Its compact size allows it to pass through standard doorways and easily maneuver in confined spaces. The powerful diesel engine enables it to operate for at least eight hours without refueling.
Also noteworthy is the stand of the company Reform, which showcased the armored medical evacuation vehicle MediGuard, based on the Toyota Land Cruiser 79 chassis (4.2 L; 129 hp). The cabin's armor level (sides, doors, pillars, etc.) is rated at PZSA‑4 with additional B6 protection against 7.62×51 FMJ/PB/SC DM111 and 5.56×45 FMJ/PB/SCP SS109 caliber rounds, as well as all smaller calibers.
Inside the superstructure are self‑loading stretchers with a mattress, adjustable backrest, wheels and a clamp, necessary medical equipment, as well as three seats for accompanying persons with seat belts.
BUSINESS PROGRAM OF THE EXHIBITION
As part of the exhibition's business program, the Association of Civil Defense Specialists held a 3‑day International Scientific and Practical Conference "Current Problems and Innovative Technologies in the Field of Civil Defense and Environmental Security for the Post‑War Restoration of Ukraine", which included the following sections:

- Training and professional development
Outcome: A working group has been established to urgently address these issues at the legislative level!
On May 28, as part of the XXI International Specialized Exhibition "Protection Technologies/FireTech," the Institute of Scientific Research on Civil Protection of the National University of Civil Defense of Ukraine (NUCDU) held a roundtable discussion titled "Key Changes and Innovations in the Draft DBN V.1.1‑7 'Fire Safety of Construction Objects'."
The event was attended by representatives of the Prevention Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES), representatives of higher education institutions, the Ukrainian Union of Fire and Technogenic Safety, leading construction companies, experts, and designers.
A significant event in the field of occupational safety was organized by the European Safety Organization (ESO), the journal "Occupational Safety," and the newly established Public Union "Ukrainian Association of Professional Safety" (UkrAPS).
The conference "Risk Assessment Made Simple" became a platform that brought together leading industry speakers, manufacturers and distributors of personal protective equipment (PPE), and occupational safety officers from key heavy engineering enterprises in Ukraine.
The Association of First Aid and Tactical Medicine Operators and Instructors held a workshop titled "Principles of Implementing and Developing Professional Standards and Qualifications", as well as a masterclass on providing first aid in emergency situations. The importance and value of these events in the current times cannot be overstated.
Additionally, as has become a tradition, throughout all three days of the exhibition, the Desniansky District Organization of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society in Kyiv conducted masterclasses on providing first aid and briefings on mine safety for all interested visitors at their stand.
