From 26 to 28 May 2026, the 22^nd International Specialized Exhibition Protection Technologies/FireTech was held at the International Exhibition Centre in Kyiv. The event brought together manufacturers and suppliers of firefighting and rescue vehicles, personal protective equipment, fire safety systems, and specialized equipment, alongside representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES), civil protection authorities, industrial enterprises, critical infrastructure facilities, and relevant government institutions.

The exhibition focused on key topics including fire and industrial safety, civil protection, emergency rescue equipment, occupational safety, personal protective equipment, humanitarian demining, shelter equipment, and modern emergency response technologies.

The exhibition was held as part of a large‑scale industry event complex alongside Expert Security, the International Industrial Forum, Addit Expo 3D, Plast Expo UA, and Green Enertech. This combination demonstrated the close interconnection between fire and physical security, occupational safety, energy, and industry, while providing visitors with an opportunity to explore related sectors by moving between the exhibitions and their complementary displays.

• Andrii Linnichenko, Senior Mine Action Adviser at FAO Ukraine

Their participation further underscored the importance of safety, civil protection, and humanitarian demining as key priorities on Ukraine's national agenda.

The exhibition showcased a wide range of technologies, equipment, and solutions for fire safety, civil protection, emergency response, and humanitarian demining, including:

• Ground robotic firefighting systems
• Fire detection, alarm, voice evacuation, and smoke control systems
• Equipment and gear for emergency rescue units
• Modern personal protective equipment (PPE), professional footwear, and workwear solutions
• Innovative protective fabrics and accessories
• VR‑based training solutions for fire and industrial safety
• First aid equipment and casualty evacuation systems
• Construction and outfitting solutions for civil protection shelters
• Advanced technologies for explosive ordnance detection and humanitarian demining

The outdoor exhibition area featured large‑scale equipment and specialized machinery for emergency response and civil protection, including:

• Debris removal and rescue operations equipment
• Advanced mobile cranes for fire and rescue operations
• Heavy‑duty pyrotechnic vehicle
• Armored vehicles for law enforcement agencies
• Armored medical evacuation (Medevac) vehicle
• Telescopic aluminum masts for emergency rescue operations
• Armored shelters for civil protection purposes

Over the three days of the exhibition, the business programme was highly intensive and included international scientific and practical conferences, thematic forums, round tables, seminars, and hands‑on workshops.

Special focus was placed on civil protection, fire and industrial safety, occupational safety, humanitarian demining, and information and telecommunications technologies for critical infrastructure.

In parallel, the Open Talk training space was open to all visitors, offering practical sessions in first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and the control of life‑threatening bleeding.

Participants unanimously highlighted the high quality of the visitor audience and the effectiveness of business networking opportunities. Over the course of three days, the exhibition served as a dynamic platform for establishing new partnerships and showcasing solutions that are ready for implementation today.
